The cuttable marks along the strip were a lifesaver for fitting it around my desk corner without wasting a foot of light. It runs cool to the touch even after a few hours, which is a relief since I’m using my own 12V brick with it.
Wasn't sure about needing my own 12V adapter, but once I hooked it up, the warm white glow is soft and cozy without any heat buildup. I've had it running for hours and it stays cool to the touch just as described.
Cutting it to fit my shelf corners was way easier than I expected, and the adhesive held firmly overnight. Runs cool even after a few hours, so I don't worry about it near my books.
