Took this out for a weekend trip and the 1000-lumen setting lit up our whole campsite, no problem. Even with a bit of rain overnight, the waterproofing held up fine and it stayed bright. The dimming button is smooth, too, so I could drop it to a low glow for late-night reading without blinding mysel

The long-press dimming is a game-changer—I can crank it to full 1000 lumens to light up the whole tent, then drop it to a soft glow for reading. It’s survived a couple of downpours so far without a hiccup.
