Took this camping last weekend and the 350-lumen combined mode lit up our whole picnic table, no problem. The emergency flashing setting is a nice touch too, though I hope I never actually need it. Battery life held up fine for three nights on a single AA.

Swapped the cool white for the warm setting while reading inside the tent and it was just right on the eyes. The flashing mode is a nice backup too, though I hope I never need it. Runs forever on two AAs, which is exactly what I wanted for a weekend trip.

I was a bit worried about AA battery brightness, but the 6000K cool white mode at 280 lumens genuinely lit up our whole tent. The toggle between warm and cool with the combined 350 lumen option is handy, and the flash mode is a nice safety touch.
